     Regina Elizabeth Shafer was born on 10 February 1863 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Frederick Schäffer and Dorothea Heim. Regina Elizabeth Shafer married, at age 25, Lewis Frank Koch, age 24, son of Jacob Koch and Magdalena Edler, on Thursday, 31 May 1888.1 Regina Elizabeth Shafer died on 11 July 1941 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 78 years, 5 months and 1 day.2 She was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
