Magdalena Edler was born on 22 September 1838 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Jacob Edler and Anna Maria Renz. Magdalena Edler married, at age 21, Jacob Koch, son of Henry Koch and Anna Maria Kurz, on Sunday, 29 January 1860. Magdalena Edler died in 1922 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 83 years. She was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
