Jacob Koch was born on 11 November 1817 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of George Koch and Barbara Sweeley.2 Jacob Koch first married Mary Kiess, daughter of John Kiess and Elizabeth Seamiller, circa 1841.3 Jacob Koch married a second time Elisabeth Mutschler, daughter of David Mutschler and Sarah Entz, circa 1878.4 Jacob Koch died on 15 February 1907 at Crawford County, Ohio, at age 89 years, 3 months and 4 days.2 He was buried in row 7, stone 27, in the Salem Cemetery, located in North Robinson, Crawford County, Ohio.2
