Elizabeth Koch was born on 26 January 1844 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Jacob Koch and Mary Kiess.1,2,3 Elizabeth Koch married, at age 20, Jonathan H. Kiess, age 25, son of Abraham Kiess and Catharina Waltz, on Thursday, 5 January 1865 at Crawford County, Ohio.1,2,4 Elizabeth Koch died on 19 July 1876 at age 32 years, 5 months and 23 days.2,4 She was buried in plot 21, in the Salem Cemetery, located in North Robinson, Crawford County, Ohio.2
