Daniel Simpson Robinson

     Daniel Simpson Robinson was born on 5 August 1902.1,2 He was the son of George T. Robinson and Mary L. DuVall. Daniel Simpson Robinson married Meralda Bessie Bower, daughter of George J. Bower and Laura E. Kinley, circa 1922 at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend J. L. Winnemore. Daniel Simpson Robinson died on 30 January 1971 at South Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 68 years, 5 months and 25 days.3,2 He was buried on 2 February 1971 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
     He Daniel attended Bottle Run No. 2, Old Lycoming Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania during the 1910 - 1911 school year. A. C. Paulhamus, was the teacher. Board of Education consisted of George W. Bennett, President; L. H. Pidcoe, Secretary; Amos Smith, Treasurer; Chris Bower; Daniel Berry; Clarence Sholder; and G. Bruce Milnor, County Superintendent. Daniel Simpson Robinson was known as Reverend professionally. He performed the wedding for Charles L. DeRemer and Beverly Jeanette Snyder at Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5 Reverend Daniel Simpson Robinson performed the wedding for Michael Creasey and Kathleen May Pryor on June 1947. Reverend Daniel Simpson Robinson performed the wedding for David W. Short and Kathryn Grace Waltz on circa 1955 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6,7,8 Reverend Daniel Simpson Robinson performed the wedding for Daniel Dalton Bower and Carol Ann Hepburn on 26 July 1963 at home of Rev. Daniel S. Robinson, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
