     Jonathan C. Kurtz was born on 30 April 1867 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5,6 He was the son of Jacob Kurz and Maria Schuld.7 Jonathan C. Kurtz married, at age 30, Estella Lowe, daughter of John Lowe and Rebecca Grier, in January 1898.8 Jonathan C. Kurtz died on 5 October 1942 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 75 years, 5 months and 5 days.5,9 He was buried in the Kurtz Family Cemetery, located in Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.10
