Christina Sheets was born on 17 January 1780 at Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Schiedt and Judith Schädler. Christina Sheets married Christopher Kiess, son of Johann Wilhelm Kiess and Sophia Dorothea Auch, circa 1800 at Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.2 Christina Sheets died in 1862 at Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 81 years.1 She was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
Christina's surname has also been spelled as Schiedt. She and Christopher Kiess emigrated on 22 October 1806 from Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg, landing in Philadelphia, at the age of 26. From there they moved to Blooming Grove in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
