     Salome Kiess was born on 6 September 1813 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Christopher Kiess and Christina Sheets. Salome Kiess died on 19 November 1862 at age 49 years, 2 months and 13 days.1 She was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
