Elizabeth A. Smith was born on 23 May 1854 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of John Smith and Mary B. Marshall. Elizabeth A. Smith married Simon Kiess, son of John Kiess and Mary Marquardt, circa 1874.1 Elizabeth A. Smith died on 26 December 1917 at Larryville, Piatt Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 63 years, 7 months and 3 days.1 She was buried in the Saint John's Chapel Cemetery, located in Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
