William Boyd Kinley was born on 15 November 1889.1,2 He was the son of Samuel L. Kinley and Catherine R. Frey. William Boyd Kinley married, at age 18, Rachel Dora Waltz, age 17, daughter of Immanuel J. Waltz and Sarah Duitch Marshall, on Tuesday, 24 December 1907.1 William Boyd Kinley died on 22 June 1967 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 77 years, 7 months and 7 days.3,2 He was buried on 24 June 1967 in the Maple Springs Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3

William B. Kinley, 77, of Cogan Station RD 2 was pronounced dead on arrival at the Williamsport Hospital at 12:23 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 1967.
He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Kinley was a member of the Maple Springs Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Rachel Waltz; four sons, Floyd, Elmer and Ernest, all of Cogan Station RD 2, and Ralph, this city; five daughters, Mrs. Leroy Persun, Mrs. Russell Menne and Mrs. Richard Horn, all of Cogan Station RD 2; Mrs. Wiliam Mahaffey, Linden RD 1, and Mrs. Charles Robinson, Williamsport RD 2; 38 grandchildren, and 42 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Knight's, 1912 Memorial Avenue. Burial will be in Maple Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Herbert Entz, his pastor, will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon until the time of te service. He appeared on the census of 7 June 1900 in the household of Samuel L. Kinley and Catherine R. Frey at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
