Elmer Raymond Kinley was born on 22 September 1916 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of William Boyd Kinley and Rachel Dora Waltz. Elmer Raymond Kinley married, at age 26, Thelma Elizabeth Gouldy, age 26, daughter of James Henry Gouldy and Mary Estella Waltz, on Thursday, 31 December 1942 at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 Elmer Raymond Kinley died on 13 January 1973 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 56 years, 3 months and 22 days.1 He was buried on 16 January 1973 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3

ELMER KINLEY, LOCAL JEWELER, DIES; WAS 56
Elmer R. Kinley, 56, of Cogan Station RD 2, a local jeweler, died, at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 1973, in Williamsport Hospital, where he had been a patient since January 6th.
Mr. Kinley owned and operated a jewelry store in Newberry for 23 years and recently purchased the former Rudnitzki jewelry store on West Fourth Street.
He was born September 22, 1916, in Lycoming Township, a son of William B. and Rachel Waltz Kinley.
Mr. Kinley was a member of the Maple Springs United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Thelma Gouldy; two sons, William E., of this city; and Gerald R., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Anthony Cerra, of Warren; his mother, Mrs. Rachel Kinley, of Cogan Station RD 2; three brothers, Floyd W. and Ernest C, both of Cogan Station RD 2; and Ralph E., of this city; five sisters, Mrs. Charles A. Robinson, of Williamsport RD 2; Mrs. William L. Mahaffey, of Linden RD 1; and Mrs. LeRoy Persun, Mrs. Richard C. Horn and Mrs. Russell G. Menne, all of Cogan Station RD 2, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Knight's, 1914 Memorial Avenue, with the Rev. Elwood Hollopeter, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Te family will provide the flowers.
