Mary Morrison Creamer was born on 15 July 1841 at Jerseyville (later Shade), Athens County, Ohio.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Creamer and Mary Ann Morrison. Mary Morrison Creamer married, at age 23, James B. Burson, age 22, son of James C. Burson and Hannah Powell, on Thursday, 17 November 1864 at Athens County, Ohio.1 Mary Morrison Creamer died on 23 November 1923 at age 82 years, 4 months and 8 days.1 She was buried in the Burson Cemetery, located in Shade, Athens County, Ohio.
