David Jacob Heim was born on 17 June 1859 at Balls Mills, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob Christian Heim and Rosina Ulmer. David Jacob Heim married, at age 23, Hulda M. Schaeffer, age 21, daughter of Frederick Schäffer and Dorothea Heim, on Thursday, 28 December 1882.2 David Jacob Heim died on 1 May 1944 at age 84 years, 10 months and 14 days.
