William Jacob Entz

     William Jacob Entz was born on 6 October 1864 at Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob Entz and Dorothea Doley Waltz. William Jacob Entz first married Rebecca Kiess, daughter of John Kiess and Mary Marquardt, circa 1889.2 William Jacob Entz married a second time, at age 28, Christina Heim, age 28, daughter of Jacob Christian Heim and Rosina Ulmer, on Thursday, 16 March 1893 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. William Jacob Entz died on 29 April 1960 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 95 years, 6 months and 23 days. He was buried in the Fairfield Cemetery, located in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He became a widower at the age of 26 with the death of Rebecca on 12 February 1891.3 William Jacob Entz was a farmer in 1900. For the second time he became a widower at the age of 89 with the death of Christina on 3 September 1954.4
