Dorothea Doley Waltz was born on 27 October 1842 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Wilhelm Waltz and Maria Elizabeth Hurr. Dorothea Doley Waltz married, at age 18, Jacob Entz, age 21, son of Jacob Entz and Maria Mutchler, on Monday, 14 January 1861.2 Dorothea Doley Waltz died on 10 February 1896 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 53 years, 3 months and 14 days.3
