Jacob Entz was born on 4 November 1839 at Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob Entz and Maria Mutchler. Jacob Entz married, at age 21, Dorothea Doley Waltz, age 18, daughter of Wilhelm Waltz and Maria Elizabeth Hurr, on Monday, 14 January 1861.2 Jacob Entz died on 19 September 1914 at age 74 years, 10 months and 15 days.2
