Julia Emery was born on 15 June 1872.¹ She was the daughter of John Beecher Emery and Helen A. Otto. Julia Emery married, at age 30, John Hammond Foresman, age 31, son of Seth Thomas Foresman and Sarah Elizabeth Updegraff, on Tuesday, 17 February 1903.¹ Julia Emery died on 28 May 1960 at age 87 years, 11 months and 13 days.¹
