     Howard Wesley Ulmer was born on 24 February 1917 at Rose Valley, Gamble Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,4 He was the son of Charles Ervin Ulmer and Margaret Sophia Dangle. Howard Wesley Ulmer married, at age 23, Catherine E. Murphy, age 17, daughter of Bertram Murphy and Bessie E. Griggs, on Monday, 22 July 1940.1,2 Howard Wesley Ulmer died on 14 November 1998 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 81 years, 8 months and 21 days.4,5 He was buried in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He was a maintenance supervisor.

     Claire Naomi Ulmer's obituary on 20 July 2001 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, stated that Howard Wesley Ulmer was her brother and preceeded her in death.6
