Murphy.2 Barbara Ann Ulmer married Ernest Hawk. Barbara Ann Ulmer died on 7 June 2000 at Manor Care Health Center, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 58 years, 3 months and 25 days.1,2 She was buried on 9 June 2000 in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Thomas H. Jacobs.2

Barbara Ulmer Hawk, 58, of this city died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, in Manor Care South. A 1961 graduate of Montoursville High School, she was a secretary for the Montoursville Borough office throughout the 1970s. She was a member of the Pine Street United Methodist Church and sang in its Cornerstone and chancel choirs.
Born Feb. 13, 1942, in this city, she was a daughter of Howard and Catherine E. Murphy Ulmer. Surviving is her mother of Montoursville; two daughters, Luanne Hawk in Florida and Krista Hawk in New York; and a brother, Thomas Ulmer of Montoursville.
A graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Montoursville Cemetery, with her pastor, the Rev. Thomas H. Jacobs, officiating. There will be no visitation. The family will provide the flowers. Arrangements are being handled by Spitlers, 733 Broad St., Montoursville.2
