     Martha A. Wheeler was born on 31 October 1859 at Illinois.1 She was the daughter of James Richard Wheeler and Martha Emaline Owens.1 Martha A. Wheeler married, at age 19, James A. Wiggins, age 22 on Thursday, 21 August 1879 at Macoupin County, Illinois. Martha A. Wheeler died in 1937 at age 77 years.1
     She and James A. Wiggins appeared on the census of 13 June 1900 at Hanover Township, Gage County, Nebraska.
