Owens and Hannah VanBibber, on Thursday, 24 February 1848 at Macoupin County, Illinois.¹ James Richard Wheeler died on 9 February 1904 at Scottville, Macoupin County, Illinois, at age 81 years and 10 months.¹ He was buried Adams Township, Gage County, Nebraska.
