John Jacob Roller was born in September 1865 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob J. Roller and Esther Mahaffey. John Jacob Roller married Elvira Elyira Marquardt, daughter of Nickolas Stephen Marquardt and Regina Stabler, circa 1889. John Jacob Roller died in 1939 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 73 years. He was buried in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
He was a carpenter. He and Elvira Elyira Marquardt appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. John Jacob Roller appeared on the census of 8 January 1920 in the household of John B. Lockcuff and Della Imms at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
