Eva Roller was born on 2 August 1896 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Jacob Roller and Elvira Elyira Marquardt.1 Eva Roller married, at age 23, Richard A. Weitzel, age 23, son of Henry Lewis Weitzel and Capatola Mahaffey, on Thursday, 20 May 1920. Eva Roller died on 15 August 1978 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 82 years and 13 days. She was buried on 18 August 1978 in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
She appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 in the household of John Jacob Roller and Elvira Elyira Marquardt at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Eva attended Bottle Run No. 2, Old Lycoming Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania during the 1910 - 1911 school year. A. C. Paulhamus, was the teacher. Board of Education consisted of George W. Bennett, President; L. H. Pidcoe, Secretary; Amos Smith, Treasurer; Chris Bower; Daniel Berry; Clarence Sholder; and G. Bruce Milnor, County Superintendent. As of 1975, Eva Roller lived at Williamsport RD 2, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Her obituary was published sometime in August 1978 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

Mrs. Eva R. Weitzel, 82, of Williamsport RD 5, died at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 1978, in the Williamsport Hospital, where she had been admitted August 7. Her husband, Richard A. Weitzel, died in 1968.
Born in this city August 2, 1896, she was a daughter of Jacob and Elvira Marquardt Roller.
She was a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Lloyd, of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Grace E. Getchen and Mrs. Helen Campbell, both of this city, and Mrs. Ruth Beach, of Williamsport RD 5; a brother, Harold Roller, of Naugatuck, Conn., 20 grandchildren and 16 great-randchildren.
A private funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Knight's, 1914 Memorial Avenue, with the rev. Harold E. Miller, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville, Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family will provide the flowes.
