Sarah Jane Jeffords

     Sarah Jane Jeffords was born on 19 January 1827 at Burlington, Henry County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Ezra Jeffords and Elizabeth VanBibber.¹ Sarah Jane Jeffords married, at age 17, Stout St. Leger Barklow, age 22, son of Benjamin Barklow and Margaret Foster, on Thursday, 15 August 1844 at Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio. Sarah Jane Jeffords died on 10 January 1903 at Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio, at age 75 years, 11 months and 22 days.¹ She was buried in the Greenlawn Cemetery, located in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio.

Barklow, Margaret, and Mrs. Agnes E. Roe.
