     Benjamin S. Barklow was born on 6 August 1852 at Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio. He was the son of Stout St. Leger Barklow and Sarah Jane Jeffords. Benjamin S. Barklow died on 4 May 1864 at Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio, at age 11 years, 8 months and 28 days.1 He was buried in the Greenlawn Cemetery, located in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio.1
