     Martha C. Ulmer was born on 12 July 1907 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of David Elmer Ulmer and Mabel G. Blair. Martha C. Ulmer married, at age 21, Joseph Kiess, age 21, son of Reuben Kiess and Emily Estella Cline, on Tuesday, 19 February 1929.3 Martha C. Ulmer died on 20 February 1994 at Leader Nursing Home, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 7 months and 8 days.1,2 She was buried on 23 February 1994 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
