Reuben Kiess was born on 8 October 1881 at Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 He was the son of Joseph Kiess and Eva Maria Wurster.1 Reuben Kiess married, at age 24, Emily Estella Cline, age 23, daughter of Winfield Scott Cline and Catharine Maria Bardo, on Tuesday, 17 October 1905.3,2 Reuben Kiess died on 23 February 1944 at Salladasburg, Mifflin Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 62 years, 4 months and 15 days.3 He was buried in the Woodward Township Cemetery, located in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
