Elmer Ellsworth Waltz was born on 1 April 1900 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.7,1 He was the son of Harry Edward Waltz and C. Jenny Waltz.2 Elmer Ellsworth Waltz married, at age 29, Josephine Casselberry Bennett, age 23, daughter of George Washington Bennett and Loretta Carrie Casselberry, on Friday, 27 September 1929 at Presbyterian Church, New Castle, Clearfield or Schuylkill (?) County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Charles Christian Tevis.5 Elmer Ellsworth Waltz died on 19 January 1986 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 years, 9 months and 18 days.7,1 He was buried on 22 January 1986 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.7

MR., MRS. WALTZ TO OBSERVE 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Waltz, Williamsport RD 5, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. They will be honored at a family dinner on Saturday evening at the Farmer's Best Restaurant.
The couple was married in New Castle by the Rev. Charles C. Tevis, brother-in-law of Mrs. Waltz.
The former Josephine Casselberry Bennett, Mrs. Waltz is a native of Bottle Run. Mr. Waltz has been engaged in farming. He and his wife have resided at the same farm since their marriage.
They are the parents of two sons and three daughters: Clair E., Cogan Station RD 2; Harold E. and Mrs. Marvin E. Fishel, Williamsport RD 2; Mrs. David W. Short, Park Ridge, N.J; and Miss Mary L. Waltz, at home. There are four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
As of 1938, Elmer Ellsworth Waltz and Josephine Casselberry Bennett lived at Williamsport RD 2, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
