C. Jenny Waltz was born in February 1875 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Jonathan Waltz and Rosanna Entz. C. Jenny Waltz married, at age 20, Harry Edward Waltz, age 21, son of Wilhelm G. Waltz and Margaret Elizabeth Bower, on Monday, 23 December 1895.2,1 C. Jenny Waltz died on 13 February 1938 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 63 years.1 She was buried on 16 February 1938 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend C. Everest Granger.1
Her obituary was published sometime in February 1938 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Waltz - Mrs. C. Jennie Waltz, 62, widow of Harry E. Waltz, of Williamsport R.D. 2, died in the Williamsport Hospital Sunday morning. Surviving are a daughter, Helen G., of Williamsport R.D. 2; two sons, Elmer E., of Williamsport R.D. 2, and Paul, of Johnson City, NY, and two brothers, Samuel Waltz, of Williamsport R.D. 2, and Henry Waltz, of Kansas. Funeral services were conducted at the Knight Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. C. Everest Granger, D. D., pastor of the Lycoming Presbyterian Church, with burial in Wildwood Cemetery.1
