Harry Edward Waltz was born on 8 November 1874.2 He was the son of Wilhelm G. Waltz and Margaret Elizabeth Bower. Harry Edward Waltz married, at age 21, C. Jenny Waltz, age 20, daughter of Jonathan Waltz and Rosanna Entz, on Monday, 23 December 1895.3,1 Harry Edward Waltz died on 25 April 1928 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 53 years, 5 months and 17 days. He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
He was killed by a run away team of horses on his farm near Anthony Baptist Church. The horses were western and had been purchased and shipped into Williamsport by train. The sound of wind scared the horses and they spooked.
The obituary for C. Jenny Waltz in February 1938 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, listed Harry Edward Waltz as her deceased husband.1
