Samuel W. Waltz was born on 8 January 1866.2 He was the son of Jonathan Waltz and Rosanna Entz. Samuel W. Waltz died on 28 January 1948 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 82 years and 20 days.2 He was buried on 1 February 1948 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
