Uriah Updegraff was born on 10 January 1810 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Abner Updegraff and Jane Devine.1 Uriah Updegraff married, at age 28, Ann Covode, age 19, daughter of Jacob Covode and Ann Updegraff, on Wednesday, 18 July 1838 at Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1 Uriah Updegraff died on 9 May 1882 at Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, at age 72 years, 3 months and 29 days.1
