Samuel F. Waltz was born on 26 March 1851 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann M. Waltz and Sophia Stolz. Samuel F. Waltz married Catherine Kehrer, daughter of Jacob Kehrer and Christina Kiess, circa 1868.1 Samuel F. Waltz died on 12 August 1920 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 69 years, 4 months and 17 days. He was buried in the Anthony Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
