Christina Kiess was born on 17 March 1817 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Johann George Kiess and Dorothea Ulmer. Christina Kiess married Jacob Kehrer, son of Johann George Kehrer and Anna Gutbrod.2 Christina Kiess died on 12 December 1896 at Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 79 years, 8 months and 25 days.1 She was buried in the Fox Hollow Cemetery, located in Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
