Jacob Kehrer was born on 26 October 1811 at Steinach, Oberamt Waiblingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Johann George Kehrer and Anna Gutbrod. Jacob Kehrer married Christina Kiess, daughter of Johann George Kiess and Dorothea Ulmer.2 Jacob Kehrer died on 2 June 1891 at Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 79 years, 7 months and 7 days.1 He was buried in the Fox Hollow Cemetery, located in Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
