     Elizabeth C. Marquardt was born in September 1846. She was the daughter of Stephen Nickolas Marquardt and Rachel Kiess. Elizabeth C. Marquardt married Abraham G. Kiess, son of Abraham Kiess and Catharina Waltz, circa 1870.1 Elizabeth C. Marquardt died in 1908 at age 61 years. She was buried in the Anthony Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
