     Ruth McCormick Foresman was born on 3 August 1880.1 She was the daughter of Seth Thomas Foresman and Sarah Elizabeth Updegraff.2,1 Ruth McCormick Foresman married, at age 22, Samuel Jay MacMullen Jr., son of Samuel Jay MacMullen and Emma Fletcher, on Tuesday, 24 February 1903.1 Ruth McCormick Foresman died on 12 October 1954 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 74 years, 2 months and 9 days.1
     She appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 in the household of Seth Thomas Foresman and Sarah Elizabeth Updegraff at Williamsport, 5th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
