Granddaughter of David Young
Sarah Young was born on 31 August 1819 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of David Young and Rachel Kiess. Sarah Young first married John Neff, son of Michael Neff and Christiana Catharine Wagner, circa 1848.1 Sarah Young married a second time, at age 41, John B. Koch, age 46, son of George Koch and Barbara Sweeley, on Thursday, 20 September 1860 at Crawford County, Ohio. Sarah Young died on 10 April 1894 at Whetstone Township, Crawford County, Ohio, at age 74 years, 7 months and 9 days.1
