Jacob Ulmer was born in 1801 at Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.¹ He was the son of Leonhard Ulmer and Rosina Weinman. Jacob Ulmer married Margaretha Heim, daughter of Jacob Heim and Christina Gohl, in 1830. Jacob Ulmer died on 25 March 1892 at Rose Valley, Gamble Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 91 years. He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
He was a farmer in 1852.
