David H. Ulmer was born in 1833 at Rose Valley, Gamble Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob Ulmer and Margaretha Heim. David H. Ulmer married Mary D. Rentz, daughter of Jacob Renz and Anna Mary Steiger, circa 1855. David H. Ulmer died in 1924 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 91 years.1 He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
