Daniel E. Spotts was born in February 1880 at Balls Mills, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Peter Spotts and Sarah Mary Ulmer. Daniel E. Spotts married Margaret Hunt, daughter of Asher Richard Hunt and Eliza Young, circa 1902. Daniel E. Spotts died in 1957 at age 76 years.
