Emanuel Ulmer

     Emanuel Ulmer was born on 8 March 1856 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Martin Ulmer and Catherine Shafer. Emanuel Ulmer married, at age 25, Sarah Elizabeth Heim, age 23, daughter of Jacob G. Heim and Regina Gross, on Thursday, 29 December 1881 at Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.2 Emanuel Ulmer died on 30 June 1934 at Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska, at age 78 years, 3 months and 22 days.3 He was buried in the Heim Cemetery, located in Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.4
     He was a farmer.4 He immigrated in May 1881 to Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska, at the age of 25.
