Updegraff married, at age 22, James Campbell Funston, age 26, son of John Funston and Mary Auten, on Tuesday, 20 September 1831 at Elimsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.¹ Rachel M. Updegraff died on 8 October 1890 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 81 years, 6 months and 14 days.¹
