     Thomas J. Funston was born in 1844 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of James Campbell Funston and Rachel M. Updegraff. Thomas J. Funston married Tacie J. Milnor, daughter of Joseph Wright Milnor and Mary Jane Reeder, circa 1871. Thomas J. Funston died on 3 November 1919 at Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 75 years. He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
