James Campbell Funston

James Campbell Funston was born on 5 November 1804 at Madison Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of John Funston and Mary Auten. James Campbell Funston married, at age 26, Rachel M. Updegraff, age 22, daughter of Daniel Updegraff and Catharine Palmer, on Tuesday, 20 September 1831 at Elimsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 James Campbell Funston died on 4 June 1883 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 78 years, 6 months and 30 days.1
