Adam Wurster

M, (25 May 1863 - 29 September 1937)
     Adam Wurster was born on 25 May 1863. He was the son of Johannes Wurster and Catherine Pfeiffer. Adam Wurster married Martha Getz, daughter of Daniel Getz and Katharina Kiess, circa 1889. Adam Wurster died on 29 September 1937 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 74 years, 4 months and 4 days.1 He was buried in the Saint John's Chapel Cemetery, located in Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He appeared on the census of 1870 in the household of Johannes Wurster and Catherine Pfeiffer at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary was published sometime in September 1937 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Adam Wurster, 74, died suddenly at his home here at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday evening. Surviving are his wife and a son Otto, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Horn and Mrs. Watson Sechrist, both of Cogan Station. Funeral Services for Adam Wurster, will be held at St. John's Chapel, Pine Run, at 2 o'clock this afternoon, with interment in St. John's Cemetery.1
