Wurster married, at age 25, Bessie Virginia Park, age 18, daughter of Edward Park and Agnes Carson, on Tuesday, 28 February 1922. Otto B. Wurster died on 10 November 1951 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 55 years, 5 months and 1 day. He was buried on 13 November 1951 in the Salladasburg Cemetery, located in Salladasburg, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

Services will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday at the funeral home, 1912 Memorial Avenue, with the Rev. H. S. Entz, pastor of the Lycoming charge of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in Salladasburg Cemetery.2
