Burrows T. Kress

     Burrows T. Kress was born in March 1854 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Hiram Kress and Sarah Smith. Burrows T. Kress first married, at age 23, Maria Emilie Rhote, daughter of John Von Roth and Sarah Ann Miller, on Thursday, 21 June 1877 by the Reverend H. Wilson. Burrows T. Kress married a second time Julia A. Bower circa 1888. Burrows T. Kress died in 1930 at age 75 years. He was buried in the Salladasburg Cemetery, located in Salladasburg, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     Burrows T. Kress was also known as Burris. He appeared on the census of 30 August 1870 in the household of Hiram Kress and Sarah Smith at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of 19 June 1900, Burrows T. Kress was also known as Benes. He and Julia A. Bower appeared on the census of 19 June 1900 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Burrows T.
