Thomas F. Updegrove was born on 15 June 1802.1 He was the son of Jacob Updegrove and Martha Fowler.1 Thomas F. Updegrove first married, at age 23, Clarinda Newell, age 17 on Tuesday, 14 March 1826 at Jacksonville, New York.1 Thomas F. Updegrove and Clarinda Newell were divorced.1 Thomas F. Updegrove married a second time Margaret Blair circa 1832.1 Thomas F. Updegrove married a third time, at age 49, Nancy Green on Tuesday, 20 January 1852.1 Thomas F. Updegrove died circa 1853.1
After his divorice from his first wife, he returned to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He also lived at Tompkinsville, NY.1 He and Margaret Blair appeared on the census of 11 September 1850 at Wayne Township, Wayne County, Ohio.1
