     Johnson Simpers was born on 6 February 1793 at North East, Cecil County, Maryland.¹ He was the son of John Simpers and Margaret [—?—]. Johnson Simpers married, at age 23, Millicent Ford on Tuesday, 23 July 1816.¹ Johnson Simpers married, at age 66, Rachel Evans Whitaker, age 32, daughter of Francis Asbury Whitaker and Leah Evans, on Thursday, 3 March 1859 at North East, Cecil County, Maryland.¹ Johnson Simpers died on 9 March 1887 at age 94 years, 1 month and 3 days.¹ He was buried in the M. E. Church Cemetery, located in North East, Cecil County, Maryland.¹
